Rare vintage mix of vegetables kokeshi by Hiroe Fukushima

This whimsical set of vegetable-themed Kokeshi dolls crafted by Hiroe Fukushima features five handcrafted wooden figures resting in a bowl lined with a palm-patterned napkin. Each wooden doll is artfully shaped and painted to represent a different fresh vegetable—including corn, an eggplant, a cucumber,… —each featuring a subtly painted, gentle face that gives the traditional Japanese craft a playful, modern twist.
