This vintage Japanese creative kokeshi doll is signed by the award-winning master Hideo Ishihara (1925-1999). Titled 黒童子 (Kurodoji), meaning "Dark Child", the doll features a striking, glossy black body paired with metallic silver accents along her hair and lower base. Her serene expression, minimalist lines, and elegant monochromatic design showcase Ishihara’s signature modern approach to traditional kokeshi art. You can take the head off so you can choose the back or front your self.
