Exclusive vintage Creative kokeshi by Sato Kouson

This is a beautifully crafted traditional Japanese kokeshi doll, attributed to the artist Sato Kouson. The piece has a classic yet elegant presence, combining simplicity with refined decorative detail.

The doll features a smooth, cylindrical wooden body topped with a rounded head. Its face is delicately hand-painted with fine, minimalist lines: narrow, gently closed eyes, softly arched brows, and a small red mouth that gives it a serene, almost meditative expression. The complexion is warm and natural, allowing the grain of the wood to subtly show through.
