Realy beautiful vintage Sosaku kokeshi by Katsuyuki

This beautiful vintage creative (Sosaku) kokeshi doll by the artisan Katsuyuki showcases a striking, rich reddish-brown wood grain with a highly polished finish. The doll features a distinctively carved, bob-style haircut that frames a smaller, lighter wooden face with serene, minimalist narrow eyes. Her cylindrical kimono body is elegantly decorated with a stylized floral design, featuring deeply etched pyrography outlines of blossoms painted in warm shades of orange and red, complete with delicate details in the center of the petals. A simple carved V-neck collar finishes the look, capturing a beautiful balance of traditional charm and modern craftsmanship.
