This RARE and wonderful handmade Japanese doll was made by award winning sosaku kokeshi artist, Harumine "Seiho" Aida. Made in the 1960s, this vintage kokeshi has an amazing expression.
Aida was a major artist during the golden age of modern kokeshi making.
He won at least two prizes in the Japan Kokeshi contest in the early 1960s
