This is a very elegant slender shaped Sosaku Kokeshi! She wears a gorgeous Kimono with a fine hand-carved and hand-painted cherry blossom motif . In Japan, the cherry tree is one of the most loved flowers.
Fumio Tomidokoro . Born in 1948 in the prefecture of Gunma (the place of origin of the Kokeshi ), during his career he won numerous awards, including the most important "Prime Minister of Japan".
