Exclusive Big Sosaku kokeshi by Sato Suigai. Decorated with colorful Chrysanthemums.
Titled: 菊の思い Kiku no Aomori - Thoughts of Chrysanthemum
Sato Suigai was born in Gunma, Prefecture of Japan in 1920. Started his career under master Suiun Komuro at the age of 18. He had received numerous awards including the prestigious Prime minister award for his amazing skills. He even had opened his individual exhibition in Odawara city in The 70s. He is known to make very elegant kokeshi.
