Vintage elegant Sosaku Kokeshi By Sato Suigai (1920- ). Beautifuly decorated with red flowers. With original box. 

Titled: Tatazumi - Stand still

Sato Suigai was born in Gunma, Prefecture of Japan in 1920. Started under the wings of his teacher Suiun Komuro at the age of 18. He had received numerous awards including the prestigious Prime minister award for his amazing skills. He even had opened his individual exhibition in Odawara city in 1976. He is known to make very elegant kokeshi.
