Exclusive One off a kind kokeshi by Nagisa Hirano!

I would like to introduce you all to Nagisa Hirano (23), a young, talented artist. With no less than 3 awards already to her name! And personally, I am certain that many more will follow! 😊❤️. Originally, She went to school to study Buddhist statue carving.
After that, she became interested in kokeshi dolls, and she is now currently creating kokeshi while continuing to learn new techniques at a kokeshi workshop.
Every kokeshi is unique, there will never be a second one!! So don’t wait and regret! 🫣

This handcrafted kokeshi by Nagisa Hirano is a playful and expressive piece that showcases the artist’s distinctive contemporary style. Finished in vivid red, it features a delicately carved face framed within a rounded hood-like form, with rosy cheeks and a mischievous tongue-out expression that adds humor and personality. The smooth minimalist body contrasts beautifully with the detailed facial carving, making it a striking blend of traditional craftsmanship and modern whimsy.

Because it is the first time her work is leaving Japan, she wanted to do something special with the boxes and had a carpenter in Shimonita make wooden boxes for this set!
