Vintage set of Donko kokeshi

this is a beautiful and detailed pair of creative Japanese kokeshi dolls representing a traditional couple. Both figures feature slender, gently tapered wooden bodies, serene expressions with closed, smiling eyes, and delicate red lips. The male doll on the left wears a light wood-toned kimono adorned with black checkered patterns and delicate green grass details, tied with a solid green obi. His head features a traditional black hairstyle with a small topknot structure. The female doll on the right is elegantly decorated with an ornate kimono featuring a vibrant, hand-painted floral pattern of red, green, and blue blossoms, a patterned dark obi with a tied white cord, and a red under-robe.
