Vintage Sosaku kokeshi by Kenichi Murakami. Very elegant kokeshi with a great wood grain! She is still in amazing shape! She comes with her original box!

Murakami was born in 1929 and  before making kokeshi he studied oil painting in the 40s. In the mid-40s, he began studying and creating  kokeshi. He his know to use only a little bit of paint on his dolls to show the natural wood.
