Very beautiful rare set by Hideo Ishihara. Mother and child kokeshi and both have a lovely woodgrain. 

Hideo Ishihara, is a well know Sosaku Kokeshi artist. He was born in Tokyo, and began his career by making Traditional Narugo dolls in 1957. he received more than 60 awards, including the most important off them all the Prime Minister’s Award.
