Rare Vintage Sosaku Kokeshi By Kenichi Murakami (1929 - ). The hair is lovely done with carved lines, aswell as the obi. 

Murakami was born in 1929 and initially studied oil painting in the 1940s. In the mid-40s, he began studying and creating Shingata kokeshi. His kokeshi are about showing the wood and its texture with very little paint.
