Vintage Sosaku kokeshi by Minori

This beautiful creative (sosaku) kokeshi doll titled "Yasuragi" (Tranquility) by the renowned artist Minori Kato features a highly elegant and minimalist design. Crafted from smooth, light-toned wood, she has an iconic bob-style haircut framing a serene, delicately painted face. The lower half of her body is adorned with finely detailed, engraved, and painted autumn grass and tiny red blossoms. This piece is designated as a modern masterpiece and an award-winning design from the All Japan Kokeshi Contest, arriving with its original presentation box complete with the artist's signature red seal (hanko).
