Vintage Sosaku kokeshi by Tae

This creative kokeshi doll, crafted by the famous artisan Tae, features a lovely rounded body and a large head adorned with a dark blue painted hairstyle, styled into a neat bob with straight bangs and a small bun on top. Its simple, charming face shows small eyes and a delicate red mouth carved directly into the natural wood. The doll's body is dressed in a matching deep blue kimono, which is decorated with beautifully carved floral cluster patterns that reveal the natural wood beneath, alongside striking, bright red triangular accents at the collar and base.
