Beautiful Vintage Sosaku kokeshi

This is a creative, vintage-style Japanese kokeshi doll featuring a unique, multi-tiered design. It consists of a round head with a detailed, dark hairstyle adorned with a traditional hairpin (kanzashi) and white dotted details. Below the head, the doll has a split, two-part wooden body resembling gourds or rounded segments connected by small, natural wooden sticks. Both sections of the body are beautifully hand-painted with elegant, dark blue and green ivy or leaf motifs.
