Rare Vintage Creative Kokeshi by Kano Chiyomatsu (1935-)

This exquisite vintage creative (Sosaku) kokeshi doll by the acclaimed award-winning master Kano Chiyomatsu (1935-), titled 待春 (Matsuharu) which means "Waiting for Spring", features a smooth, rounded wooden head with a traditional top-knot hairstyle and minimalist carved facial features, beautifully paired with a rich red and black kimono adorned with detailed floral patterns and hand-carved floral motifs.
