Rare Sosaku kokeshi by Ryozo Tsujita, she is titled "Asatsuyu" - "Morning dew"

Master Tsujita Ryozo was born in the year 1923 in the Kanagawa Prefecture. He was a prisoner in the World War until he was released in the 1950's. In 1959 he began making kokeshi in his own studio. He won the National Creative Kokeshi Art Exhibition & the Prime Minister Prize twice in 1956 & 1981.
