this creative Japanese kokeshi doll by master artisan Hajime Miyashita features an elegant, rounded black body and matching bob-style hair adorned with a traditional topknot. The natural wood face is beautifully detailed with closed, serene eyes and long, delicate eyelashes. Her dark kimono and hair are hand-painted with a charming pattern of blooming red and white plum blossoms (ume), accented by a simple red bow tied neatly at her neck.
