Vintage Sosaku kokeshi by Sansaku Sekiguchi (1925-2018)

This is a charming vintage creative (sosaku) kokeshi doll designed by the acclaimed Master Sansaku Sekiguchi,
Characterized by an incredibly sweet and endearing expression, the doll features a beautifully rounded head tilted playfully to the side, nestled into the collar of her garment. Her face is delicately painted with peaceful, long-lashed closed eyes and a tiny red smile, framed by a finely detailed, traditional bob haircut (okappa).
