Beautiful Sosaku Kokeshi, awarded by Aida Harumine, in very good condition.

This RARE kokeshi was  made by award winning sosaku kokeshi artist, Harumine Aida. Made in the 60s, this vintage kokeshi has an amazing expression.

Aida was a major artist during the most important years of modern kokeshi making.

He won at least two prizes in the Japan Kokeshi contest in the early 1960s

Pleas look carefully at the pictures to determine the condition of the kokeshi. She has tin cracks on the foot.
