Lovely vintage Sosaku kokeshi by Aoki Ryoka (1931-)

This is a beautiful "Hime Daruma" (Princess Daruma) creative Kokeshi doll crafted by the renowned artist Aoki Ryoka. the doll features a distinctive, rounded, egg-like shape characteristic of traditional Daruma-inspired designs. The natural wood surface is intricately hand-painted with a vibrant floral motif consisting of bold orange and white chrysanthemum blossoms alongside delicate green accents and silver-painted elements.
