Rare exclusive creative kokeshi by Kishi Sadao (1932-1998) - XL 36cm

Very beautiful sosaku kokeshi, She wears a lovely blue kimono with the igeta pattern (#). She has such a lovely expresion with the little red flowers in the hair and she is also wearing a Beautiful engraved embrella.

Kishi was born in Maebashi, Gunma Prefecture, Kishi- san produced hundreds of Creative Kokeshi dolls until his passing. During his career, he received numerous awards, winning the Prime Minister's Award and the Minister of Economy.
