Rare Vintage Creative Kokeshi By Hiroe Fukushima

This kokeshi doll by Hiroe Fukushima features a charming, minimalist design with a smooth wooden body and a delicately hand-painted face. The doll wears a deep red scarf with dark, textured detailing and a matching red headpiece adorned with subtle floral motifs. Its soft expression, rounded shape, and warm wood tones give it a gentle, handcrafted elegance.

Hiroe Fukushima was a Japanese sosaku kokeshi (creative wooden doll) maker active for a relatively short period in the 1970s (approximately 1970–1979).
