Vintage rare Sosaku Kokeshi made by Hajime Takahashi (1918-2002). Unusually shaped kokeshi, beautifully decorated with red-colored plum blossoms.

Born in Sendai in Miyagi Prefecture. Hajime Takahashi is a multiple award winner, inculding the most important award of them all the Prime Minister’s Award.
