Vintage Sosaku kokeshi by Masashi Takeda - Love pair (1930-2015)

This adorable set of two handcrafted Japanese wooden kokeshi dolls is titled "Love Pair" (Rabu Pea), created by the artisan Masashi Takeda. Carved with smooth, natural wood grain and painted with charming, sleepy facial features, the set features a male figure inscribed with "I love you" and "K.V" with an arrow, alongside a female figure featuring a red heart and the inscription "M.V Love me tender". The set comes with its original yellow presentation box bearing the artist's signature seal and calligraphy.
