This exquisite modern Sosaku (creative) kokeshi doll crafted by the renowned artisan Toa Sekiguchi features a smooth, egg-shaped (tamago) form. The figure depicts a serene, sleeping or resting lady with closed, gentle eyes and a subtle red lips detail.
It is beautifully decorated with an elegant dark kimono adorned with intricate traditional Japanese motifs—including geometric patterns, delicate gold accents, and subtle sparkling highlights on the reddish-purple sash (obi).
